Family fare deal

The Family fare deal also applies to DayTripper tickets. When at least one fare paying adult travels with their children or grandchildren, the first child travels for a child fare and the other children travel free.

Where can I use my DayTripper?

• CityRail - within the Sydney suburban network (bounded by Cowan, Emu Plains, Richmond, Carlingford, Macarthur, Cronulla, Otford and Bondi Junction. An additional access fee is required for Green Square, Mascot, Domestic and International stations.
• Sydney Buses - unlimited journeys on all Sydney Buses. Excludes special event and tourist buses.
• Sydney Ferries- unlimited journeys on all Sydney Ferries. Excludes premium services.

• Sydney Buses TransitShops
• Sydney Ferries ticket offices at Circular Quay and Manly
• Selected ticket agents, including many newsagents (look for Sydney Buses PrePay flag)

Tickets purchased from CityRail stations and on board Sydney Buses and Sydney Ferries are valid from the time of purchase.

Tickets purchased from Sydney Buses TransitShops are valid at time of first use and can be pre-purchased.
