Fares and Passes

The 'blue' Bondi Explorer bus visits 19 stops. You can hop on or off as you please, then simply catch the next bus when it arrives. Each Bondi Explorer is air-conditioned, wheelchair accessible and includes on-board commentary, giving you fascinating insights into the history and culture of Sydney.

The Bondi Explorer will take you along a picturesque path through Sydney's affluent Eastern suburbs, out to Watson's Bay and on to cosmopolitan Bondi Beach. You will also journey through Sydney Harbour's beautiful bays and Tamarama, Bronte and Coogee Beaches. Stay aboard and enjoy the commentary or get on and off anywhere you choose along the 30km circuit.

On board commentary details the attractions near each bus stop for you to explore at your leisure. Your Explorer ticket also entitles you to fantastic discount offers at a variety of attractions and venues on route.

Your Bondi Explorer ticket also entitles you to travel on the Sydney Explorer as well as free travel on regular Sydney Buses (blue travel zone) up to midnight on the same day.

Timetable

The Bondi Explorer (Route 222), operates at a 30 minute frequency, seven days a week. To download the timetable visit the Timetable section, type in 222 and select your day of travel.
