Following are the types of tickets suited for concession travellers on rail, bus and ferry services. Concession travellers must hold a valid pass or identification card to be eligible for concession travel.

| Vision Impaired Persons | All Regular ServicesHolders of a Vision Impaired Persons Pass are entitled to free travel on CityRail, Sydney Buses, Sydney Ferries, Newcastle Buses and Ferries, T-way services. An attendant may also travel free if the pass is so endorsed. |
| Pensioners | CityRailNSW, ACT and Victorian pensioners with Centrelink pensioner concession cards are entitled to use $2.50 Pension Excursion Tickets and concession fares for single and return tickets, 7 day RailPasses, weekly, TravelPasses and FlexiPasses on CityRail services. Centrelink pensioner concession card holders from other states are entitled to use Pensioner Excursion Tickets.Buses and FerriesNSW, ACT and Victorian Pensioner Concession Card holders are entitled to use $2.50 Pensioner Excursion tickets plus concession fares for single tickets, TravelTen tickets on Sydney Buses, and Weekly TravelPasses on Sydney Buses, Sydney Ferries and Newcastle Buses and Ferries. Concession is not available on premium bus and ferry services. Family members listed on the back of the Pensioner Concession Card are not entitled to use the card to purchase concession tickets. | Interstate Seniors | All ServicesInterstate Seniors card holders can obtain the same entitlements available to NSW card holders on NSW services:

| International Students | International student identification card holders are not generally eligible for concession fares. Application forms may be obtained from your place of study. |
