Sick of missing your train or bus? There are apps for you to download to track both your train and bus live. Most of these apps allow you to view:

the location of your train and bus in real time
train service updates such as cancellations and delays
lift and elevator statuses for selected train stations
bus stops and routes nearby using GPS
estimated bus arrival times.

Trains in the Sydney suburban network area (excluding the Carlingford Line and Waterfall Station) and Sydney Buses operating in Inner Sydney (Bus regions 6 - 9) can be tracked on the apps.
