Next Services

Shows departures near your GPS current location or a specified point. Departures are sorted by time or stops. Tap the clock/bus icon to change sort order. Tap the 'New' button to reset the tab. The Auto-Refresh button toggles auto refresh on or off. If the Auto-Refresh button is on, the departure list will be updated regularly. Tapping on the "My location" button will set the departure point to match your current location.

Departure point and time
Enter the name of a stop, a point of interest or an address in the text field to see any possible matches. Once you have chosen a point departures near this point will be displayed. Scroll though the displayed options to select the departure point. Contacts in your address book will also display in the options. Your contacts with addresses included can be used to trip plan. Tapping the “Now” button lets you select the date and time you want departures displayed for.

Departures
Departures are either shown below the stop header or in one continual list. To change the sorting of this, tap the clock/bus button.

Trips

Plan a trip from point to point. Tap on displayed trips to read additional information. Tapping the 'New' button resets all fields and shows recently used or saved points. Once the calculation has finished you will be presented an overview of the results. For each suggested trip you can see departure and arrival times, as well as the duration of the trip. Tap on any of the trips to see more details.

Origin, destination and time
Select the "From" or "To" text box to select the origin or destination of your journey. Once a text box has been selected, a list of recently used or saved points is displayed. You can also enter the name of a stop, a point of interest or an address in both text fields and any possible matches will be displayed. Contacts in your address book will also display in the options. Your contacts with addresses included can be used to trip plan. Once you have selected one of the possible matches, it will be set as either the origin or the destination. Tapping the "My location" button will set the origin to match your current location using your iPhone’s GPS.

Options
The star button adds or removes the current trip from the favourites. Origins or destinations are added by tapping the star in the respective text fields. The double arrow icon changes the trip direction (it calculates a return trip).

Map

The map tab displays a map of the area. It can be used for orientation and to help visualize your trip. To move the map just drag it into the direction you want to see. Use the “pinch” control on the touch pad to zoom in or out. Tapping the “My Location” button in the title bar uses your iPhone’s GPS to centre the map to your current position.

Service Info

Shows you more information about a particular service. Refresh the list by tapping the refresh button. Tap the message to read the service information. The little red oval shows the number of service messages that relate to your favourite trips.

A list of saved trips and points.

Settings
The settings are used to control the results displayed for you. You can set your:
•   mode of transport – bus, train, ferry, or school bus
•   walking speed – slow, normal, fast
•    journey options – quickest connection, fewer interchanges, least walking
•    mobility options – wheelchair access
