Route 311 trial extension to Circular Quay and Millers Point from Sunday 28 October
Start: 28/10/2012 12:00 AM
From Sunday 28 October, a 12-month trial will begin on Route 311 with bus services extending to Circular Quay, and some services then running through to The Rocks and Millers Point.
During the morning peak, some route 311 services will terminate at Loftus and Bridge Streets at Circular Quay, and some afternoon peak services will commence from Pitt and Spring Streets. After 8pm, all services will operate to and from Circular Quay.
To avoid any confusion for customers, the destination signage on the front of Route 311 buses will clearly state whether their final destination is Millers Point or Circular Quay.
It is important to remember that this change to the Route 311 is a trial and its continuance will be based on the uptake by the community over the next 12 months.
The Route 311 currently operates between Railway Square (Central Station) and the City (Gresham Street) via Darlinghurst, Kings Cross, Elizabeth Bay, Woolloomooloo and Hyde Park.
