Route 501 permanent diversion in Ultimo from 17 June

From Sunday 17 June, route 501 services in Ultimo will be to be diverted due to the permanent closure to traffic of Jones Street between Broadway and Thomas Street.
Route 501 services travelling to Ryde/West Ryde will operate via Broadway and Wattle Street, before returning to Thomas Street. A new stop will be introduced on Thomas Street at Wattle Street, outside Building P of the Sydney Institute of TAFE.
The bus stop on Jones Street at Broadway will be permanently closed, and customers should join route 501 from the new Thomas Street stop.
Route 501 can also be joined from Stand D at Railway Square.
Citybound services are not affected by this change.
