New Route X40 from Clovelly to the City from Sunday 28 October

From Sunday 28 October, a new 12-month trial bus route will be introduced from Clovelly to the City (Route X40).
Six morning Route X39 express services will be redirected via the Eastern Distributor and will travel under the new route number X40. They will enter the City via Bent Street and will then travel south along Phillip and Elizabeth streets, finishing at Liverpool Street.
Route 339 services heading into the City will now finish at Loftus Street, near Circular Quay, instead of running through The Rocks to Millers Point. The Route 339 timetable will also be altered slightly to ensure services match the times that customers wish to travel.
