Neutral Bay Wharf will reopen for regular services on Monday 20 August. As a result, the 222 shuttle bus between Neutral Bay and Milsons Point will cease operation. 

There are no changes to the Neutral Bay ferry timetable.

The current Neutral Bay Wharf closure arrangements will be in effect until Sunday, 19 August, as indicated below:

What are the alternative travel arrangements for Sydney Ferries’ customers?

Sydney Ferries’ customers will need to use alternative services. Please allow extra time for your journey. For transport advice please contact Transport Info on 131 500 or use the Trip planner on this site.

Please note the Neutral Bay ferry timetable remains the same during the closure, however the ferry may layover for some minutes at North Sydney and/or Kurraba Point to accommodate the extra time in the timetable.

Alternative options include:

• Walk 710m (8-12 min) to Kurraba Point Wharf to meet the Neutral Bay ferry service. This wharf has no access for customers with mobility aids.
• Take the 225 bus to Military Road to meet city-bound bus services.
• Take the 225 bus to Cremorne Point Wharf to meet the Mosman ferry service (17 min). This wharf has full access for customers with mobility aids.
• Take the free 222 shuttle bus to the corner of High Street & Clarke Road to Milsons Point train station and Milsons Point / Luna Park Wharf. This service is suitable for customers traveling with mobility aids or prams. The 222 bus schedule can be found on the timetable or Trip planner section on this site.
  

Information on the free 222 shuttle bus

Customers can catch the free 222 shuttle bus from Lower Wycombe Road, Neutral Bay to Milsons Point Train Station and Milsons Point / Luna Park Wharf. This service is suitable for customers travelling with mobility aids or prams.

Customers should refer to the timetable or  Trip planner for the ferry and shuttle schedule. The general span of service for the 222 shuttle bus is:

Monday – Friday

• First trip from Neutral Bay Wharf to Milsons Point train station only: 5.46am
• First trip from Neutral Bay Wharf to Milsons Point / Luna Park Wharf: 7.04am
• Last trip from Milsons Point / Luna Park Wharf to Neutral Bay Wharf: 6.41pm

Saturday

• First trip from Neutral Bay Wharf to Milsons Point train station only: 6.20am
• First trip from Neutral Bay Wharf to Milsons Point / Luna Park Wharf: 9.15am
• Last trip from Milsons Point / Luna Park Wharf to Neutral Bay Wharf: 6.39pm

Sunday / Public Holidays

• First trip from Neutral Bay Wharf to Milsons Point train station only: 8.20am
• First trip from Neutral Bay Wharf to Milsons Point / Luna Park Wharf: 9.15am
