Trains are running to an amended timetable with additional City services operating.

Ferries

Additional ferries are running on some routes to get you home. If travelling by ferry on New Year’s Eve, be sure to allow extra time for your journey.

Newcastle Buses and Ferries services are operating to a weekday timetable with additional NYE services. 

Buses

Extra bus services are operating on major routes with temporary bus stops and diversions in place in North Sydney and the Sydney CBD until 6am on New Year’s Day. 

NightRide

NightRide services will also be operating on New Year's morning, leaving from alternate locations due to road closures.

Taxis

Secure taxi ranks are operate in the CBD. 

Tickets

Special New Year's Eve ticket arrangements allow travel until midday New Year's Day on most services.
