Customer lifts between Church Street, platform 4 and the concourse at Lidcombe Station are being replaced to improve reliability and reduce failures. This work will take place between October 2011 and March 2012.

From Monday 31 October until Friday 2 March 2012

Customers needing lift access between Church Street and the concourse should use the lift on platform 1. Access to the platform 1 lift is via the Church Street gate entrance.

From Monday 7 November until Friday 2 March 2012

There is no lift access between platform 4 and the concourse.

If you need lift access to platform 4 to catch your train to Bankstown or Inner West Line stations via Regents Park; or West or South line stations via Granville, please proceed to platforms 1 or 3 and catch a train to Strathfield for a service to your destination via Lidcombe.  

If you are travelling to Lidcombe and need lift access to the concourse from platform 4, please travel to Granville or Regents Park stations for a return service to Lidcombe.

Tickets will be recognised for people travelling to and from Lidcombe via Granville, Regents Park or Strathfield stations.

Lifts will operate between the Railway Street entrance to the station, the concourse and platforms 1, 2 and 3.
