Start: 8/3/2010 12:01:00 AM
NSW Transport and Infrastructure along with Premier Illawarra, Dion’s Bus Service and Greens Northern Coaches are pleased to announce a new bus network for the Illawarra region, which will commence on 29 March, 2010 following an extensive community consultation process.
As part of the NSW Government's bus reform, Premier Illawarra, Dion’s Bus Service and Greens Northern Coaches will continue to provide bus services in the Illawarra area. Working closely with NSW Transport and Infrastructure, Premier Illawarra, Dion’s and Greens Northern Coaches developed a new bus network that will provide improved services to the region whilst maintaining links to employment, educational and recreational facilities.
New printed timetables will be available from your local bus operator, or can be downloaded from Premier Illawarra, Dion’s Bus Services and Greens Northern Coaches website. Advertisements about the changes will also appear in local papers.

• Increasing service frequencies between Warrawong, Berkeley and Wollongong, especially on weekends;
• Increasing service frequencies between Wollongong, Warrawong and the Shellharbour district seven days a week;
• Increasing service frequencies between Port Kembla and Wollongong on Saturdays;
