Family Fare Deal

The Family Fare Deal makes it more
affordable for families to get out and about in greater Sydney on
government public transport services including:
- CityRail Trains
- Sydney Buses
- Sydney Ferries
The deal applies to groups who are all members of the same family. All adult members of the group and one child must hold a valid ticket. All additional children travel free.
Valid adult tickets include adult ordinary and concession MyTrain, MyFerry and MyBus tickets, off-peak MyTrain tickets, MyTrain and MyMulti tickets and the Pensioner Excursion Tickets. MyMulti ticket holders can only use the Family Fare Deal on government train, bus and ferry services (not private bus, ferry, monorail, light rail, special event or tourist sightseeing bus services).
Children must be under 16 years of age or hold a NSW Senior Secondary Student Transport Concession Card.
The deal does not apply to private bus and ferry services, monorail, light rail, special event or tourist sight seeing bus services. The Family Fare Deal has different rules for travel to the Family Funday Sunday ticket.
