If
you are a NSW Seniors Card holder, you are entitled to a half-fare
concession.
You are also entitled to discount day excursion tickets for CityRail train travel with the Pensioner Excursion Ticket and CountryLink train travel with Country Pensioner Excursion ticket, and inexpensive regional bus travel is available with the Regional Excursion Daily ticket. Concessions are available on CountryLink, Great Southern Rail and interstate travel.
Half-fare concessions
The Pensioner Concession Card entitles you to half-fare concessions on MyMulti day and weekly tickets, MyTrain tickets (excluding off-peak return), MyBus tickets, special event shuttle buses, Newcastle Buses & Ferries tickets, MyFerry tickets, the Airport Line station access fee and light rail single and return tickets. Concessions are not available on longer term MyMulti tickets (monthly, quarterly and yearly), MyTrain off-peak return tickets, the Manly fast ferries, monorail, chartered and tourism or special event services (except the Moore Park Special Event Bus services). Privately owned and operated services, such as regional services, may offer concessions at their own discretion. Check with the operator before travelling.
Pensioner Excursion Ticket (PET)
The $2.50 Pensioner Excursion Ticket gives you unlimited all day travel in the Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan areas, including Newcastle, the Lower Hunter, the Central Coast, the Blue Mountains, Lithgow and the Illawarra on trains, buses, light rail and regular ferry services on Sydney Ferries.

Country Pensioner
Excursion (CPE) ticket
The $2.50 Country Pensioner Excursion ticket offers eligible card holders an economy class one-way trip on CountryLink services in regional and rural NSW and the ACT.

Regional Excursion
Daily (RED) ticket
The $2.50 Regional Excursion Daily ticket permits all day travel on local buses in a rural and regional area.

Interstate travel
You can use your Seniors Card in other states to obtain concessions available to Seniors Card holders in those states. Entitlements vary from state to state, so you may wish to learn more about the concessions available to Seniors Card holders from the destination state's transport authority before travelling. Card holders must carry their NSW Seniors Card at all times and produce it if requested by transport staff.
Airport line
