Airport Line

Monday - Friday

Approximately six to eight services operate every hour from 6.00am to 9.00pm. And then four services every hour until the last train.

Saturday, Sunday, Public Holidays

Four services operate every hour. Services to the airport operate from City Circle stations, Central Station and Airport and East Hills Line stations. All City Circle stations offer a direct service via the Airport Line.

Trip time

It takes 10 minutes to travel from Central to the Domestic Airport Station, and 12 minutes to the International Airport Station.

Tickets

Tickets to airport stations are available from all CityRail stations. Airport stations are managed by Airport Link who charge for a Gate Pass at both Domestic Terminal Station and International Terminal Station in addition to the normal MyZone fare. The Gate Pass fee is included in MyTrain tickets where an Airport Link station is the origin or destination but customers travelling on MyMulti or excursion tickets must purchase a Gate Pass at the station. Concession Gate Passes are available.

Changing trains for the Airport Line

Remember, when changing trains look for the aeroplane symbol on station signage.

Change for Airport Line at Central (platforms 22/23) from these lines:

• Eastern Suburbs
• Bankstown
• Inner West
• South
• North Shore
• Western
• Northern
• Blue Mountains
• Newcastle and Central Coast

Change for Airport Line at Wolli Creek (platform 1) from these lines:

• Illawarra

Access to stations and terminals

Airport stations are located inside the domestic and international terminals within minutes of check-in desks via the escalators or lifts.

Travelling with luggage

Trains have room for luggage in the areas at the ends of each carriage. Lifts are available at domestic and international terminals, and most City Circle stations (Central, Museum, St. James, Circular Quay, Wynard and Town Hall) and Wolli Creek.
