The Airport Line is one of the fastest ways to get
to Sydney Airport.
From Central Station, it’s a 10 minute ride to the Domestic Airport Station and 12 minutes to the International Airport Station. Both stations are located underneath the terminal so you can get to the check-in counters within minutes.
Airport Line trains run frequently, up to eight times an hour during peak times. Use the Trip planner to plan your trip.
Tickets and fees
A Gate Pass (station access) fee is charged if you enter or exit the train station at the domestic or international terminal.
You can buy Airport Line tickets from CityRail station ticket offices and vending machines. If you purchase a MyTrain ticket to or from the domestic or international airport stations, the Gate Pass fee is included in your ticket price.
When you use a MyMulti or Pensioner Excursion ticket on the Airport Line you will need to pay the Gate Pass fee when you leave the station.
